Obituary of Lacretia Montana

Services for Lacretia Sue Montana, 51, Overton, will be at 1:00 pm, Saturday, February 2, in the Cottle-Pearson Funeral Home chapel with Reverend Ken Hayman officiating. Burial will be in McKnight Cemetery, near Cushing.  Mrs. Montana died Wednesday, January 30, 2013 in Longview. She was born January 16, 1962 in Clovis, New Mexico to the late Arvol King and Anatta Raborn King. She married Theron Montana February 16, 1991 in Weatherford and has lived in Overton 18 years. She was a nurses aide and had worked for Sunshine Nursing Home, Overton and for Autumn Leaves Nursing Home, Henderson and she was a member of the London Baptist Church, New London.  Lacretia was a loving wife, and had a loving spirit and a gracious and caring heart for people. She was a wonderful cook and was full of life and a had a great sense of humor.  Besides her father, Lacretia was also preceded in death by her grandparents, Tom and Laguna Raborn, Jerry and Clara Confal, and Ovelan and Juanita King. Survivors include her husband of twenty one years, Theron Montana, Overton; two sons and daughters-in-law, Lindsey and Da'land Montana and Tonyia Montana; her mother, Anatta King, Rusk; two sisters and brothers-in-law, Dora and Gary Owens, White Oak and Renda and Tira Sexton, Anderson; her grandmother, Wanda Raborn, Waco; aunts and uncles, Tarania and Pat Snell, Grand Prairie, Carolyn and Vernon Russell, Odessa, Ronnie and Linda Trussell, Waco, and Darla Ranier, Waco; two grandchildren, Karrson and Hayden Montana and many nieces and nephews.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm, Friday, February 1.
