Obituary of James Molnari

Military graveside services for James C. Molnari, 86, Troup, will be at 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, April 17, at Pinecrest Cemetery with Reverend Charles L. Plunkett officiating under the direction of Cottle Funeral home of Troup. Mr. Molnari died Friday, April 13, 2007 in Tyler. He was born January 25, 1921 in Mineola to the late Frank and Evelyn Molnari. He married Dolores Edmenson June 6, 1969 in Houston and he served in the US Navy during W.W.II. He fought in the Pacific on the USS Nevada. He moved to Troup in 1978 from Houston and was in the dry cleaning business for 57 years. He owned and operated Eagle Cleaners in Whitehouse. He was preceded in death by two daughters, Deborah Hughes and Karen Wylie, and five brothers. He is survived by his wife of 38 years, Dolores Molnari of Troup; two sons and a daughter-in-law, Edward Molnari, Houston, and Chris and Amy Molnari, Troup; two daughters and a son-in-law, Catherine Munson, Houston, and Kimberly and Thomas Cathey, Flint; eight grandchildren, Meghan Molnari, Christopher Molnari, Ethan Molnari, Cole Molnari, Tommy Cathey, Jennifer Cathey Smith, Jason Hughes, and Charles Panagiotopluos; two great-grandchildren, Jason Hughes, Jr. and Pierce Hughes; and aspecial son, Michael McGraw The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm, Monday, April 16.
