Obituary of Norma Cook

Services for Norma Sparks Cook, 73, Whitehouse, are scheduled for 1:00 pm, Tuesday, November 20, 2012, at the Cottle Funeral Home chapel, Troup. Burial will be in the Walnut Grove Cemetery near Whitehouse. Mrs. Cook died Friday, November 16, 2012, in a Tyler hospital. She was born October 29, 1939, in Tyler to the late Norman and Carmen Collins Sparks. She had been a lifetime resident of East Texas. She was a graduate of Tyler High School and for the past 20 years had been employed by Texas Commercial Insurance Facilities, Tyler. Survivors include two daughters and a son-in-law, Tammy Green of Whitehouse and Teri and Mitch Smith of Tyler; three sons and two daughters-in-law, Gary and Patti McCarrell of Possum Kingdom, Dewayne and Candance McCarrell of Bullard and Joseph Cook;  11 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. The Family will receive friends at the funeral home from 7:00 pm until 9:00 pm, Monday, November 19.
