Obituary of Patricia Ann Hardy
Graveside services for Patricia Ann Miller Hardy are scheduled for 9:30 am, Tuesday, September 18, 2012, at the Ebenezer Cemetery, Arp with the Reverend Jay Riley officiating. Memorial services will follow at 11:30 am, Tuesday, September 18, at the Emerald Bay Community Church.
Pat was born February 10, 1939, in Greyrock, to Grady Miller, Sr. and Freddie Fuquay Miller and resided in Fort Worth.
Pat attended Oklahoma Christian for a year; and then returned to Fort Worth to work for Bell Helicopter, where she met and married Robert L. Hardy in 1972.
Bob later became a manager for IBM in Tyler while Pat worked in real estate and upon both their retirements, moved to Emerald Bay and enjoyed an active life of golf and travel with friends.
She was a beautiful daughter, sweet sister, dedicated loving giving wife, caring step-mom and grandmother, cherished aunt and cousin. On September 13, 2012, Pat passed away in a Dallas hospital.
Pat lived as a good Christian woman with a caring spirit and was especially dedicated to the care of her husband.
She is survived by her husband, Bob Hardy of Emerald Bay; a son and daughter-in-law, Mike and Janet Hardy of Austin; a daughter and son-in-law, Elisa and Bob Patton of Argyle, her mother, Freddie Miller of Fort Worth; a sister and brother-in-law, Marjorie and M.L. Ottinger of Haslet; a brother and sister-in-law, Grady Miller, Jr. and Cindy Miller of Fort Worth; four grandchildren, Madison, Ruth, Seychelle, and Heather; and nieces, nephews and cousins.
