I was a classmate of Richard's at St. Philip's and El Campo High. I remember his gentleness and desire to do well in school. I also remember his strong leap of faith jumping over the choir loft in the fifth grade. Richard has taken a second leap of faith by going on his journey to Heaven. I remember his parents as loving individuals as well. I send my prayers and condolesences to all of his lovely family. Richard will be always looking down from Heaven smiling upon all of us.

My sincere condolences to the Family of Richard. Richard and I were classmates at St. Phillips Catholic School for 7 years and at El Campo HS. He was such a nice person. All of his St. Phillip's classmates will remember the time that Richard broke his arm jumping off of the old church balcony. We were all scared to death for him. I was saddened to hear about his death. I know that he will be missed by his Family and friends. I pray that God will keep you all in his special care and give you the strength and guidance you need at this most difficult time.
