Obituary of Barbara Nell Glover
Services for Barbara Nell Reneau Glover, 77, of Overton, are scheduled for 10:00 am, Friday, August, 24, 2012, at Turnertown Baptist Church with the Reverend James Palmer officiating. Burial will be in the Overton City Cemetery under the direction of Cottle-Pearson Funeral Home, Overton.
Barbara went to be with her Lord on August 20, 2012. She was a lifelong resident of Smith and Rusk Counties. She was born to the late Eddie Carroll Reneau and Rosa Adams Reneau on September 13, 1934, in Overton. She was a 1952 graduate of New London High School.
Barbara was a member of the Rainbow Girls and the Ladies of the Eastern Star of Arp. She was a member of the VFW Ladies Auxiliary in Nacogdoches. Barbara attended Turnertown Baptist Church.
Her hobbies included camping, fishing, traveling and sharing good times with family and friends. She also enjoyed playing dominoes, card games and working puzzles.
In addition to her parents, Barbara was preceded in death by a daughter, Donna Ware Moss; a brother, James C. Reneau; a sister, Florence Cannon; and a niece, Jan Purkaple.
Barbara is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Mike and Johnnie Ware of Tyler; a daughter and son-in-law, Cherie and David Whitt of Andalusia, Alabama; a son-in-law, Archie Moss of Arizona; two sisters and brothers-in-law, Jean and Bill Tanner of Ore City and Linda and M.J. Ardoin of Freeport; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Wayne and Bobbie Reneau of Dayton and Ron and Sylvia Reneau of Conroe; her grandchildren, Brandi Duncan, Josh Nance, Mackey Ware, Mandy Rocco, Salena Jones, Steven Bryand, Adam Bryand, Shawn Whitt, Jeremy Whitt, J.D. Whitt and Lenna Whitt; her great-grandchildren, Austin and Savannah Duncan, Cloie and Zoe Nance, Dylan Ware, Keanna Jenkins and Samantha Rocco, Justin Johnson and Railey Ward, Haley and Heidi Bryand, and Avery Bryand; her longtime companion, Herb Cramer of Tyler; and many cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.
Pallbearers will be David Whitt, Mackey Ware, Jody Rocco, Adam Bryand, Larry Tanner and James Reneau.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 5:00 pm until 7:00 pm, Thursday, August 23.
