Obituary of James C. ‘Jim’ Hall
Services for James C. 'Jim' Hall, 72, Whitehouse, are scheduled for 10:30 am Wednesday, May 23 at the Cottle Funeral Home chapel, Troup with the Reverends Wesley Veazey and Frank Battles officiating. Burial with military honors will be in the Bascom Cemetery.
Mr. Hall died Saturday, May 19, 2012, in Tyler. He was born December 30, 1939, in Fort Worth to the late Clifford Wylie Hall, Jr. and Louise Deal Hall. He had been a resident of Whitehouse since 1970.
Mr. Hall was an Army veteran, having served his last 11 months in Korea. He was an independent courier for the BeaVex Courier Corporation, Tyler.
Mr. Hall married Marjory Miles March 11, 1961, in Fort Worth.
Surviviors include his wife of 51 years, Marjory Hall of Whitehouse; two daughters, Cheryl Clower of Whitehouse and Tina Hall of Austin; a son, Greg Hall of Whitehouse; a sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Jewel and James Murphrey of Tyler; three grandchildren and their spouses, Danica and Neil Bletsch, Camberly and Clay Hinson and Madison Horvath; and a great-granddaughter, Hannah Bletsch.
Pallbearers will be Clay Hinson, Neil Bletsch, Wade Lucas, Randy Dunklin, Bill Dunklin and Mark Hammack.
Honorary Pallbearer is James Murphrey.
The Family will receive friends at the funeral home from 7:00 pm until 9:00 pm, Tuesday, May 22.
