Obituary of Ron Lowrance
Services for Ron Lowrance, 63, Troup, are scheduled for 10:00 am Friday, August 3, at the Troup Church of Christ with Nolan Kennedy, Dr. Jay Lockhart, and Ka'Sime Davenport officiating. Burial will be in the Pinecrest Cemetery, Troup, under the direction of Cottle Funeral Home, Troup.
Mr. Lowrance died Tuesday, July 31, in a Tyler hospital. He was born February 22, 1944, in Henderson, to the late Ralph and Florene Turner Lowrance. He had been a resident of Troup for the past 10 years.
He was a graduate of John Tyler High School and Abilene Christian University.
Mr. Lowrance was presently serving as the minister for the Alto Church of Christ. He had also served numerous other churches throughout Texas and Oklahoma.
He is survived by his wife of twelve years, Janelle Ritchie Lowrance, Troup; two daughters and a son-in-law, Kimberly Lowrance Fuller and Kevin Fuller, Tyler and Amanda Lowrance, Alamosa, Colorado; a son, Stephen Lowrance, Alamosa, Colorado; three stepsons and two step-daughters-in-law, Dr. Marcom Herren and April Herren, Wichita Falls, Eric Ritchie Herren and Rhonda Herren, Katy and Ashley Hembree, Troup; a brother and sister-in-law, Tommy and Donna Lowrance, Tyler; his mother-in-law, Mary Ethel Ritchie, Troup; eight grandchildren, Michael Fuller, Steven Fuller, Jennifer Herren, Rachel Herren, Parker Herren, Jessica Herren, Emily Herren, and Haden Herren; two nephews, Michael Lowrance and Jon Lowrance; and numerous other nieces, nephews, and other family. Pallbearers will be Dr. Marcom Herren, Eric Herren, Ashley Hembree, Steven Fuller, Craig Dickey, David Dickey, Jon Lowrance and Michael Lowrance.
The Family will receive friends at the funeral home from 7:00 pm until 9:00 pm, Thursday, August 2.
