Obituary of Donald Fred Brazil

Services for Donald Fred Brazil, 84, Troup, are scheduled for 10:00 am, Saturday, August 17, 2019 at First Baptist Church in Arp with Bro. Mike Rice and Bro. Chris Chadwick officiating. Burial will be in the Shiloh Cemetery in Omen.

Donald Fred Brazil was born in Dallas, TX on November 14, 1934.  He married the love of his life, Patsy Jane Ellison, on March 3, 1970.  They shared 49 wonderful years of married life, adding to the 14 years they dated before marriage giving them 63 years together.  They had 2 children, Merion Curtis Brazil and Peggy Alison Chadwick.  Don served his country proudly in the Army stationed in Japan.  He worked internationally.  He was a well-respected businessman serving the Dallas area for 40 years.  Don was loved by all who met him.  Everyone he encountered he left with a smile and a laugh. 

He is proceeded in death by his parents Eldridge Merion “Buster” Brazil and Mildred Brazil, and brother Merion Bryan Brazil.

He is survived by his loving wife Patsy Jane Brazil, son Merion Curtis Brazil, daughter Alison Chadwick, son-in-law Chris Chadwick, and granddaughter Emily Rose Chadwick, and sister-in-law, nieces and nephews, and cousins.

Pallbearers will be Merion Curtis Brazil, Christopher Chadwick, Butch Gurley, Scott Allen, Clint Brazil, Joe Brazil and Richard Brazil.
