Obituary of Douglas Bedair
Services for Douglas M. Bedair, 56, Overton are scheduled for 3:00 pm, Thursday, November 3, at the Living Word Church, Kilgore, with the Pastor Lee Bryan officiating. Burial will be in the Kilgore City Cemetery under the direction of Cottle-Pearson Funeral Home, Overton.
Mr. Bedair died Saturday, October 29, in a Longview hospital. He was born October 19, 1955, in Houston to Harvey and Nellie Lee Bedair. He had been a resident of Overton for the past 10 years.
He was a crane operator for Turner Brothers and was a member of the Living Word Church, Kilgore.
He married Keri Ueckert in Ringold, Georgia, October 1, 1990.
Survivors include his wife, Keri Bedair, Overton; two sons, Andrew Bedair, Overton and Casey Bedair, Austin; three daughters and a son-in-law, Erica Peters, Las Vegas, Emily and Mario Lopez, Tyler and Natalie Jackson, Kilgore; his mother, Nellie Baker, Whitehouse; a brother, Ronald Bedair, Oklahoma; six grandchildren, Austin Peters, Mariah Jackson, Kaleb Awtry, Kayleigh Shipe, Ezra Lopez and Luka Bedair; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be Larry Don Wedgeworth, Jerry Logan, Alan Henderson, Rodney Lambert, Randy Fletcher, and Ronnie Phelps.
Bob Heldreth will serve as an Honorary Pallbearer.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 5:00 pm until 7:00 pm, Wednesday, November 2.
