Obituary of Linda Marlene Pierce

Memorial services for Linda Marlene Pierce, 71, Overton, are scheduled for 6:00 to 7:30 pm, Saturday, June 8, 2019 at First Assembly of God in Overton with Reverend Atwell Hankins officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Cottle-Pearson Funeral Home in Overton.

Mrs. Pierce passed away, Wednesday, June 5, 2019 in a nursing home in Henderson. She was born December 10, 1947 in Dayton, Ohio to the late Ed Ling and Virginia Moore. She married the love of her life Robert Charles Pierce in 1971 in Salt Lake City, Utah and later moved to Overton in 1986 from Tyler. She worked as a secretary for the City of Overton and worked for the Overton Police Department as a dispatcher.  She was a member of the Overton Fire Department and EMS. She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.

Besides her parents, Mrs. Pierce was also preceded in death by her husband, Robert Charles Pierce.

Survivors include her sons and daughters-in-law, Bruce and Kimberly Pierce of Arp, Robert and Teresa Walker of Houston and Tony and Missi Walker of Dayton, Ohio; sisters, Bonnie St. Pierre of Ohio and Dorene Kaminski of Tennessee; grandchildren, Brayton Pierce, Bradley Pierce, Braxton Pierce, Nikki Brousseau, Myranda Bounds, Alyssa and Brandon Sharp, Bryan and Joy Walker, Spencer Walker and Sierra Walker and numerous nieces and nephews.
