Obituary of Robert Charles Pierce

Memorial services for Robert Charles Pierce, 71, Overton, are scheduled for 7:00 pm, Saturday, May 25, 2019 at the London Baptist Church in New London with Reverend Wesley Wyatt officiating.  Arrangements are under the direction of Cottle-Pearson Funeral of Overton.

Mr. Pierce passed away, Wednesday, May 22, 2019 in a nursing home in Henderson. He was born October 13, 1947 in Dayton, Ohio to the late Ray Pierce and Anita Gatti Pierce. He married the love of his life, Linda Pierce in 1971 in Salt Lake City, Utah and later moved to Overton in 1986 from Tyler.  He owned and operated B. Pierce Industries of Overton. Mr. Pierce served our country in the United States Marines.  He was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.

Besides his parents, Mr. Pierce was also preceded in death by his son, Robert Charles Pierce, Jr..

Survivors include his wife, Linda Pierce of Overton; sons and daughters-in-law, Bruce and Kimberly Pierce of Arp; Robert and Teresa Walker of Houston and Tony and Missi Walker of Dayton, Ohio;  five grandchildren, Brayton Pierce, Bradley Pierce, Braxton Pierce, Nikki Brousseau and Myranda Bounds.

Visitation will be Saturday, May 25, 2019 at 6p.m. at London Baptist Church in New London.
