Obituary of Pansy Rosemary Tomlin

Funeral services for Pansy Rosemary Bolton Tomlin,70, of Bullard, will be held at 2:00 pm, Wednesday, May 15, 2019, at Cottle Funeral Home chapel with Pastor Joe Ballard officiating. Burial will follow at Walnut Grove Cemetery, Troup. Arrangements are under the direction of Cottle Funeral Home, Troup.

Pansy was born April 19, 1949 in Jacksonville to the late Buddy Lee and Essie Bee Thomason Bolton. She passed away May 11, 2019, in Bullard.  She married the love of her life, Roy Tomlin, March 18, 1968 in Emory. They raised four children and they enjoyed 51 loving years together. She worked as an LVN for Hospice of East Texas and retired in 2011 from Heart-to-Heart Hospice. She was very compassionate and loved caring for others. Rosemary was a devoted grandmother to nine grandchildren and one great grandchild. Rosemary and Roy enjoyed traveling and spending time with their grandchildren.

Besides her parents, Rosemary was preceded in death by two sisters Ruby Hamilton and Ellen Tomlin.

Survivors include her husband of 51 years, Roy Tomlin, of Bullard; four children Roy Jr. and Brandy Tomlin of Troup, Brian and Sandy Tomlin of Flint, Ashley and Justin Rowe of Tyler, Amber and Brian Lipp of Bullard; brothers and sisters, Eldred Bolton of New Summerfield, Kenneth Bolton of  Tyler, Lorse Jeske of Troup, Carol Linkinhoker of  Kilgore, Shirley Pixley of Linden, Raymond Bolton of Troup and Bonnie Berg of Troup; 9 grandchildren, Courtney, Chealsey, Caitlin, Brian, Regan, Denver, Reese, Hunter, Addison; one great grandchild,

Pallbearers will be Joshua Tomlin, Zack Socia, Zack Clauque, Christopher Birdwell, Scotty McMillan, Michael Bolton

Visitation will be from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm, Tuesday, May 14, 2019, at Cottle Funeral Home, Troup.
