Obituary of Glen Fremond Anderson

Funeral services for Glen Fremond Anderson, 86, of Flint, will be held 11:00 am, Saturday, May 11, 2019, at Cottle Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow at Union Grove Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Cottle Funeral Home, Troup.

Mr. Anderson passed away on May 7, 2019, in Mineola, Texas. He was born May 3, 1933, in Melrose, New Mexico, to the late Earl Anderson and Bertha Anderson. He married Christine Winkley Anderson, April 15, 1966, in Andrews. He was a United States Army Veteran and he worked as an electronics specialist for the US Government; He enjoyed fishing and watching his hummingbirds. He was a member of the Baptist church.

He is preceded in death by his wife Christine Anderson.

Survivors include his son, Danny Suire and wife Debbie of Mineola; three sisters, Alma Freeman of West Branch, Michigan, Lela Lilly of Odessa, Carrie Ruggles of Lebanon, Missouri; three grandsons, Ryan Suire and wife Cheryl, Danial Suire and wife Katie, and Keven Suire; and seven great-grandchildren; 8 great-great-grandchildren.
