Obituary of Edwina Doris Riggs
Edwina Doris Riggs, 88, of Tyler, passed away on May 2, 2019, in Tyler, Texas. Arrangements are under the direction of Cottle Funeral Home, Troup.
Edwina was born May 29, 1930, in Sand Springs, Ok, to the late William Tell Besser and Daisy Carter Besser. She loved her grandchildren, she loved gardening and traveling. She was a Christian and loved her family with all her heart.
Survivors include her husband of 69 years, Richard Ray Riggs; children, Richard Ray Riggs, Jr. and wife Jo Ann of McKinney, Jhonne Elaine Jones and husband Stan of Dripping Springs, Judy Daniel and husband John of Troup, Alvin Lee Riggs and wife Vickie of Spicewood, Darla Janine Jewell and husband Jesse of Midland; 15 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren.
