Obituary of Lee Roy Pannell

Lee Roy Pannell, age 91, passed away April 26, 2019 at Alive Hospice in Murfreesboro. He served in the United States Navy and was a member of Blackman United Methodist Church.

Lee Roy was preceded in death by his parents, Elmer Richard and Bentley Barthel Pannell; brother, George Pannell and W.R. "Sonny" Pannell; and sister, Marie Phipps. He is survived by his wife, Mary Jane Deason Pannell; son, Bruce Lee Pannell; daughter, Lizabeth Pannell Kidwell; foster son, Thomas Leo Malone, Jr.; and foster-daughter, Connie Ann Malone; brothers, Ross Pannell, Billy Gene Pannell; grandchildren, Ben, Emily, Chad, Evan, Laurel; and six great-grandchildren.

Visitation with the family will be 3:00 until time of funeral service at 4:00 PM, Sunday, April 28, 2019 at Jennings and Ayers Funeral Home with David Stockton officiating.

Burial will be 1:00 PM, Wednesday, May 1, 2019 in Union Grove Cemetery, Troup, Texas.
