Obituary of Doris T Maloch

Funeral services for Doris T. Maloch, 98 of Overton, will be at 11:00 am, Wednesday, April 24, 2019 at Cottle-Pearson Funeral Home Chapel. Private burial to follow. Arrangements are under direction of Cottle-Pearson Funeral Home in Overton.

Mrs. Maloch passed away Friday, April 19, 2019 in Brenham. She was born August 15, 1920 in Zowalle, Louisiana to the late James Oliver and Ruby Leon Hicks Thomas and moved to New London in 1937 and graduated from New London High School in 1938. She married Luther Kelly Maloch and moved to Overton in 1940 and was a homemaker until 1962 when she then moved to Houston, then moved to Baytown in 1964.

 Besides her parents, Mrs. Maloch was preceded in death by her husband, Luther Kelly Maloch, and two brothers, Oliver Thomas and Douglas Thomas, and a sister, Loris Thomas.

Survivors include a son and daughter-in-law, CK and Debra Maloch of Tatum; a daughter and son-in-law, Mona Gaye and Butch Giles of Brenham; five grandchildren; and 7 great grandchildren, and numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
