Obituary of Brenda Darlene Paige

    Funeral services for Brenda Darlene Paige, 71, of Arp will be at 11:00 am, Saturday, March 9, 2019 in the Cottle-Pearson Funeral Home Chapel, Overton with Reverend Chris Cliborn officiating. Burial will follow in the Ebenezer Cemetery, Arp.

    Mrs. Paige passed away Wednesday, March 6, 2019 at her residence in Arp. She was born September 28, 1947 in Borger to the late Raymond C. Barnett and Elwanda Brawley Barnett. She retired from Cardinal Health and enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and loved watching Hallmark movies. She was a member of Community Baptist Church and church was a big part of her life. She sacrificed herself for her kids and grandkids.

     Besides her father, Mrs. Paige was also preceded in death by a brother, Billy Barnett and a son Raymond Huckabay.

    Survivors include her mother, Elwanda Barnett of Arp; two daughters and sons-in-law, Staci and Craig Braswell of Arp, and Mandie and Nick Clary of Laneville;  a sister and brother-in-law, Janice and George Buchanan of Mineola; six grandchildren, Kari Kuykendall, of Johnstown, Colorado, Kaci Kuykendall of Arp, Travyse Clary, Jordan Clary, Jaxon Clary, and Raymond Clary, all of Laneville.

     Pallbearers will be Craig Braswell, Nick Clary, Katherine Hudson, Michael Braswell, Michael Covey, and Brett Scott. Honorary pallbearer is George Buchanan

    The family will receive friends at the funeral home, Friday, March 8, from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm.
