Obituary of Kristi Townsend

Memorial services for Kristi Joan Townsend, 47, Overton, are scheduled for 11:00 am, Saturday, February 23, 2019 in the First Baptist Church in Danville. Arrangement are under direction of Cottle-Pearson Funeral Home, Overton.

Mrs. Townsend passed away, Monday, February 11, 2019 at her residence in Overton. She was born January 1, 1972 in Overton to the late Jimmy and Benita Sue Barton. She married the love of her life, Mark Steven Townsend on September 14, 2013 in the First Baptist Church in Danville and worked for Outreach Home Health as a home health aide. She enjoyed spending her free time working with flowers and in her gardens. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Danville.

Survivors include her husband, Mark Steven Townsend of Overton; son, Christopher Glen Bynum of Longview; brothers and a sister-in-law, Jimmy and Sammie Barton of Henderson, Larry Townsend, and Randall Townsend; a stepbrother, Robert Drinnen; uncle, Royce Townsend;  nieces, Tonya Smith and Mandy Townsend; and other nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
