Obituary of Kimberly Ann Beene

Funeral services for Kimberly Ann Hopkins Beene, 54 of Troup, will be held 1:30 pm, Wednesday, February 13, 2019 at CrossPointe Community Church, Flint, with Reverend Joe Ballard and Pastor Jonathan Ellison officiating. Interment will follow at Rose Lawn Cemetery, Tyler. Arrangements are under the direction of Cottle Funeral Home, Troup.

Kim was born July 16, 1964 in Palestine, Texas, to Doyle and Joann Page Hopkins. She passed away February 8, 2019 in Flint, Texas. Kim was a registered nurse for many years, loved oil painting, traveling, water painting and quilting. She loved Crystal Beach, snorkeling in Mexico and her grandchildren.

Survivors include her husband of 23 years, Jonathan Beene of Troup; children, Brandon Anderson and wife Kristel of Tyler, Jason Anderson and wife Kelsey of Ft. Worth, Blake Anderson and wife Chasity of Troup; step-children, Aaron Beene and wife Mary of Troup, Joey Beene of Tyler, Jessyca Beene of Overton and Justen Beene of Overton; brothers, Kendall Hopkins and wife Amy of La Grange, Kevin Hopkins of Ft. Worth; sisters, Kerri West and husband Mark of Frankston and Kristi Beene and husband Robert of Allen; three grandchildren, Bradon Anderson, Easton Anderson and Ella Anderson.

Pallbearers will be Brandon Anderson, Jason Anderson, Blake Anderson, Kevin Hopkins, Kendall Hopkins, Bradon Anderson, Justin Stanaland and Matt Toole.

Honorary Pallbearers will be Aaron Beene and Justen Beene.

Visitation will be from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm, Tuesday, February 12, 2019 at Cottle Funeral Home, Troup, Texas.
