Obituary of Dixie Louise Diedering
Funeral services for Dixie Louise Diedering, 90, of New London, will be at 10:00 am, Monday, February 4, 2019, in the Cottle-Pearson Funeral Home Chapel in Overton . Burial will follow in the Pleasant Hill Cemetery near New London.
Mrs. Diedering passed away Friday, February 1, 2019, in a hospice facility in Tyler. She was born January 27, 1929, in Aransas Pass to the late Carlos and Mamie Joy Reed. She moved to the East Texas area in 1962 from Refugio, Texas, and was a homemaker and seamstress. She was an artist who also enjoyed gardening. In addition she was a loving Gabby to her beloved grandchildren and many others.
Besides her parents, Mrs. Diedering was also preceded in death by her husband, Edwin Diedering, and her three sisters.
Survivors include two daughters and a son-in-law, Dee Diedering, and Lou and Ron Nutt all of New London; three grandchildren, Katelyn Lewis, Matthew Lewis and wife Aaron, and Alison Nutt; a nephew, Mark Hayes of Houston; three nieces, Connie Ross of Holdredge, Nebraska; Saundra O’Sullivan of Dingle, Ireland; and Grace Kracht of Garretson, South Dakota.
Pallbearers will be Mike Cunningham, Mike Russell, Michael Scarborough, Jim Holmes, Jim Kerr, and David Rice.
