Barbara loved for her family to be together during the holidays.  She would cook for days in preparation, enough to feed an army. She was an amazing cook and she lovingly shared her knowledge to many of the young ladies in her family.  She loved all of her family no matter if you were hers by birth or hers by marriage, you were hers.  She was a devoted mother and grandmother.  She took the time to know about the lives of every family member and helped in whatever way she was able.  She was a source of encouragement, strength, and wisdom.  She never missed a birthday, wedding, birth, or graduation.  She grieved when her loved ones grieved, and she delighted when her loved ones celebrated.  She was a force for good to all those that knew her.  She had a strong and generous spirit with an endless work ethic.  She loved her family unconditionally.  She was the embodiment of the Prov. 31 woman.  She was a Christian and was a member of the First Baptist Church of Wright City.
