Obituary of Drew P. Fuller

Graveside services for Drew P. Fuller, 91, of Farmington, New Mexico, former resident of Overton, will be 1:00 pm, Wednesday, January 2, 2018 in the Overton City Cemetery with Reverend Charles Paschall officiating.

Mr. Fuller passed away Wednesday, December 26, 2018 in Farmington, New Mexico. He was born July 13, 1927 in Smackover, Arkansas to the late John Bell and Don P. Mace Fuller and spent his early years in Overton. He graduated Overton High School in the class of 1945 and served in the Merchants Marines from 1945 to 1947, where he was discharged as Merchants Seaman. He married Barbara Stacy and lived in numerous cities before returning to Overton in 1987. He retired as Plant Superintendent in 1985 from Phillips Petroleum Company after 38 years. He became a member of the Masonic Lodge in Live Oaks, Lake Arthur, Louisiana in the 1960’s and joined the First Baptist Church of Overton in 1987.

Besides his parents, Mr. Fuller was also preceded in death by his wife Barbara Fullerson, son Ray Don Fuller, three brothers and two sisters.

Survivors include his daughter, Connie Twilley of Farmington, New Mexico; grandchildren and nieces and nephews.
