Obituary of Ruby Willams Brown

Funeral services for Ruby Williams Tupper Brown, 92, of Tyler, will be held 2 pm Saturday, December 1, 2018 at Cottle Funeral Home chapel. Burial will follow at Union Grove Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Cottle Funeral Home, Troup.

Ruby passed away November 28, 2018. She was born August 10, 1926, Pine Community in Upshur County, Texas to the late Mac Williams and Bessie Keel Williams. She was a retired telephone operator for Southwestern Bell. Her loves included family, dancing and playing dominos.

She was preceded in death by her husband Robert Tupper, brothers and sisters-in-law, A. Williams, Ollie and Doris Williams sisters and brothers-in-law, Jewel and Reynold Witcher, Lottie Bea and Monroe Seiber and Maxine and David Lawrence Childress and nephew, Preston Wayne Seiber.

Survivors include numerous nieces and nephews; Linde and Richard Belt, Larry and Regina Childress, Roy and Kim Williams, Glenna and Lindsey Marshall, Gail Seiber, Loretta and Norman Berry and Gerald Williams; numerous great and great-great nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm, Saturday, December 1, 2018, prior to the service.
