Obituary of Mary Frances Weaver

Graveside services for Mary Frances Weaver, 89, New London, will be 3:00PM, Tuesday, November 6, 2018 in Pleasant Hill Cemetery with Reverend Tommy Harden officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Cottle-Pearson Funeral Home, Overton.

Mrs. Weaver died Saturday, November 3, 2018 in Henderson. She was born September 2, 1929 in Gilmer to the late Thomas Columbus and Clara Frances Wells-Davis. Mary was a homemaker and a Baptist and she read her Bible every day. Her favorite quote being Matthew 19:24 "And again I say unto you, It is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle, than for a rich man to enter into the kingdom of God." She would often remind her children and grandchildren of such.

Mrs. Weaver lived in East Texas for most of her life. When she was 38 she moved to Tulsa, Oklahoma in the year 1967, and returning to Texas in April of 2001, when she settled in New London.

Besides her parents, Mrs. Weaver was preceded in death by her husband, Phillip Wayne Weaver, her son Eddy Wayne Weaver, and a sister Ruby Lee Weaver.

She is survived by two daughters, Laura Weaver of New London, and Grace Wallace of Searcy, Arkansas; fifteen grandchildren, several great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
