Obituary of Cody Edward Wood

Funeral services for Cody E. Wood, 22, of Arp, will be Saturday, October 27, at 10:00AM in the Cottle-Pearson Funeral Home chapel with Reverend Greg McAdams officiating. Burial will follow in Arp at Mason Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Cottle-Pearson Funeral Home, Overton.

Mr. Wood passed away Monday, October 22, 2018. He was born in Tyler on April 15, 1996 to Sammy and Molly McKay Wood.

Cody was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Jack and Dawn McKay.

He is survived by his parents, his brother, Casey Wood of Arp; grandparents, Rex and Wanda Wood of Arp; great grandfather, Don McKay of Dallas; special friends, LaDonna Lyles, Cortney Roach, and Pilar Roach; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and other friends, all who loved him dearly.

Visitation will be from 6-8PM on Friday, October 26, at the funeral home.
