Obituary of Rodney Dakota Moore

     Funeral services for Rodney Dakota Moore, 26, of Arp, will be 2:00pm, Monday, October 22, at Arp Emmanuel Baptist Church with Reverend Doctor Ron Klingsick and Reverend Travis Wright officiating. Burial will follow at Ebenezer Cemetery, Arp. Arrangements are under the direction of Cottle-Pearson Funeral Home, Overton.

     Dakota passed away October 17 in Rock Falls, Iowa. He was born in Tyler, September 14, 1992 to Rodney Moore and Jackie Lunsford. He graduated from Gary ISD and was working in Iowa as a welder for a pipeline company and was a member of Arp Emmanuel Baptist Church.

      Survivors include his father and step mother, Rodney and Lisa Moore of Arp and his mother Jackie Henson of Tyler; two children, Raelee Grace Moore of Nacogdoches and Kyler Moore of Yanis; a fiancee, Destiny Sowell; two sisters, Shyann Lunsford Moore of Tyler and Madison Miles of Arp; a brother, Maverick Moore of Tyler; two step brothers, Ryan Weaver of Arp and Dakota Weaver of Linden; paternal grandparents, Troy and Dean Moore of Arp; and maternal grandparents, Nancy Lunsford of Tyler and T.D. Lunsford of Fairfield.

    Visitation will be prior to the service, 12:00am-2:00pm at the church.
