Obituary of Dubbie Louise Kerr

     Memorial services for Dubbie Louise Kerr, 69, of Kilgore will be at 2:00 pm, Saturday, August 11, 2018 in the Cottle-Pearson Funeral Home chapel in Overton with Reverend Atwell Hankins officiating.

     Mrs. Kerr passed away Saturday, July 28, 2018 in Kilgore. She was born March 20, 1949 in Dallas to the late Cecil Gatlin and Wanda Offill. She has lived in the East Texas area for 35 years and married Edward Kerr August 27, 1987 in Quitman. She was a wonderful homemaker and loved feeding the humming birds and rescuing cats. She also loved traveling with her husband in their RV. They were able to visit many places, including New York, Florida, Boston and Louisiana. She loved the Lord, visiting with children and meeting new people, Dubbie never met a stranger.

     Besides her parents, Dubbie was also preceded in death by three brothers, Danny, Robby, and Dwayne Gatlin.

     Survivors include her husband of thirty years, Edward Kerr of Kilgore; a son and a daughter-in-law, Chris and Laura Vineyard of Royse City; a daughter, Ronda Roberts of Royse City; a brother, Kenneth Gatlin of Royse City; seven grandchildren, Whitney Skyy Talbert, Koree Copeland, Kourtnee Copeland, Jose G. Avila, Jr., Pedro O. Rodriguez III, Chelsea C. Roberts, and Justin Vineyard; five great grandchildren, and numerous nieces and  nephews.
