My deepest apologies for taking so long to send my love. This has been the hardest couple of weeks that I have had to endure knowing that the person I considered one of my best friends is no longer with us. Patterson is one of the greatest men I have ever had the pleasure to have in my life. He showed me as well as my family so much love. His passing has made a great inpact on all of us especially for my son.
Patterson has know Anthony (buddy) since he was 3yrs old (he's 11 now). He was known as uncle Patterson. With his new found title came with lots of private "man talk", "don't talk to your momma like that" and lots of other man to man advice that as a single mother was very appreciated. Oh and Indian sunburns. It seemed to be their favorite pass time. I never got it, but I guess it's a mom thing.
Anytime he came over my mom was always wrapped in hugs and went straight to take out the trash or do some dishes. Not without dragging me in with him of course.
So many times I told him that his parents raised him so well. Thank you to you, Mr. And Mrs. Patterson for bringing one of the most wonderful, most thoughtful men in this world. You really have raised him to be the best man he could ever be. You must be so proud of him.
As a mother I couldn't imagine losing my child. Please know that my heart is with you and your family and pray for your strength and healing.
