Obituary of George Jerrill Marsh

Funeral services for George Jerrill Marsh, 86, of Troup, will be held 11am Monday, June 11, 2018 at Cottle Funeral Home with the Reverend Mike Ledbetter officiating with interment to follow at Black Jack Church, under the direction of Cottle Funeral Home, Troup.

George passed away on June 8, 2018. He was born November 8, 1931 in Troup, to David Michael Marsh and Lucile Burton Marsh. In his spare time, George enjoyed playing dominos, along with singing, deer hunting, and fishing.

Survivors include his wife, Patsy Marsh of Troup; children, Jerrill Marsh Jr and wife Kellie of Lake Arrowhead, Dave Marsh of Longview, Don Marsh of Troup, Ron Marsh of Troup, Jana Tieyah of Elgin, OK; brothers, Otis Marsh and Frankie of Pittsburg, TX, Charles Ben Marsh of Carlisle; sister, Ruth Marsh Waits of Bowie, TX; grandchildren, Ashly Marsh, Ken Marsh and wife Ashley, Elya Slick and husband Daren; and 5 great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be at Cottle Funeral Home in Troup 10am-11am on Monday, June 11, 2018.
