Our thoughts and prays are with you and the family. Susan was an amazing wife, mother, and teacher. We would always talk a lot about teaching and how we didn’t enjoy writing lesson plans. We will always remember our days at Glasgow First and the memories shared over the years. Susan will be greatly missed.

David, Jason and I are surrounding you in prayer. Susan was such a loving and caring person. Alyssa had grown into quite the beautiful young lady. I had a couple of fun memories with the girls. Susan and I would take Cam and Alyssa to the library story hour for children and then have lunch afterwards. We would have the best talks and she always had such a positive uplifting spirit. Also, I remember Susan and Alyssa driving with me to the Women’s weekend retreat in Gatlinburg, TN one year. I couldn’t leave right away because of work and Susan so graciously volunteered to ride with me so I didn’t have to make the trip alone. We had so much fun, we would stop and eat and of course if we saw a store that interested us we would do a little shopping. I never told her this, but I always looked up to her because she just radiated the love of Jesus wherever she went. I admired that she was so devoted to her bible studies and to serving Jesus with such a huge heart. There is no doubt in my mind that God will carry you through this and I pray He gives you a peace that completely surpasses understanding. May God use this terrible situation to His glory and I pray people will come to know Him because of the life that Susan and Alyssa lived. Prayers and love my friend.

My husband Ray and I were so saddened to hear of the passing of Susan and Alyssa. Susan and I had many chats as I taught Alyssa piano for several years. We had a common bond as pastors wives. She was a very kind person and friend, and I believe a very loved and respected teacher. Our hearts grieve for her husband David, knowing that they were a close couple and tight-knit family. We have been praying for you David, and for all the family. We will continue to lift you up to the father. I am so thankful that as believers we have hope..and we will certainly see each other again.
