Obituary of William Timothy Barlow
Funeral services for William Timothy Barlow, 55 of Troup, will be at 3:00 pm, Tuesday, February 13, in the Cottle Funeral Home chapel, Troup, with the Reverend Steven Oakes officiating.
Mr. Barlow passed away Friday, February 9, 2018 at his residence near Troup. He was born May 4, 1962 in North Carolina to late Roger and Billie Jo James Barlow and was a life long resident of the Troup area. He retired from the oilfields in 2010, where he had worked as a roughneck. He married Teresa Johnson February 14, 1993 in Troup and was a wonderful husband, brother, and uncle to all his nieces and nephews, and enjoyed playing with them. He had a big heart and loved fishing, aggravating, collecting antiques, and driving the back roads.
Besides his parents, he is preceded in death by his brother, Tony Barlow.
Survivors include his wife of 25 years, Teresa Barlow of Troup; his daughter, Stacie Lanham of Troup; two brothers and their wives, Danny and Kathy Kemp of Whitehouse, and Michael and Rajeena McCugh of Kountze; a sister, Tammy Tarver of Troup; one grandson, Kyle Lanham; several nieces and nephews, and great nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be at the funeral home from 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm prior to the service.
