Obituary of Frances Mozell Woodall

Funeral services for Frances Mozell Woodall, 89, Athens, will be at 10:00 am Tuesday, February 6, 2018 in the Cottle Funeral Home chapel, with Reverend James Cheatham officiating. Burial will be at Concord Cemetery. 

Frances passed away Sunday, February 4, 2018. She was born November 2, 1928, in Cherokee County to late Homer Allen and Doris Carrie Anderson Dickey.

She is preceded in death by her husband, W.L “Red” Woodall, and a brother, J.L “Red” Dickey.

Survivors include her daughters and sons-in-law, Jan Ronnie Thompson of Athens, and Rebecca and Tony Block of Wapanucka,Oklahoma; a son, Hurschel Dickie Woodall of Troup; a sister and brother-in-law, Carrie Ann and Steve Patterson of Troup; grandchildren, Rachel Rawls, Adam Thompson, Breckett Wilson, Jake and Savannah Woodall; great-grandchildren, Josh Loper, Jace, Kaden, and Kenlee Thompson; and several special nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Visitation will be at the funeral home from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm, Monday, February 5.
