I had the honor of meeting James at JOD-Tyler. I purchased 2 Honda CRVs. I was so pleased with James genuine personality. I will be praying for his family, friends, and coworkers as I know this is a hard loss and he will be so missed. One thing is for sure he touched every life he met!

As I read through the condolences, I felt I was reading exactly what I wanted to say about James. I met him when he helped me test drive my new Honda, and showed me how all of the bells and whistles worked on this amazingly techie vehicle first before I even got to drive it! And I was so glad he did that. He knew exactly what to do to help me get comfortable with this new car. And of course after all of that and a few other calls, I felt as if I had known him for years. My heart is so broken over this news. My thoughts and prayers are with his family as well as his JOD family. I am so glad that I had the honor of knowing James McLouth. May God lift you up and bless you with the comfort only He can give.

At times like this there are really no words. James sold me a car and through the process I had the honor of getting to know him at least a little bit. I would return to the dealership because it was much easier for me to go by and have James show me (or just do what I needed) rather than to read the manual. Through these interactions I learned that James loved life. Rhonda, I do not know you but he would absolutely light up when he talked about you and your girls and Ryleigh. Anyone who knew him just a little bit, knew he loved his wife, he loved his family, and he considered himself very blessed. Through my contact with James, I learned he was a people person big time, he lived big, he loved to have fun, and he loved adventure. To the family of James I extend my deepest condolences and will continue to pray for you. I am so very sorry for your loss.

JAMES WAS A FRIEND AND I CONSIDERED HIM PART OF MY FAMILY BY MARRIAGE. I MET JAMES AT JOD. WHEN I DECIDED TO BUY MY FIRST HONDA. HE WAS TRULY A PERSON YOU COULD GET TO KNOW AND TALK TO
AND WAS VERY PERSONABLE. OVER THE NEXT FEW YEARS I PURCHASED THREE
NEW CARS FROM JAMES. I ALWAYS WAS GLAD TO TALK TO HIM WHEN I HAD
SERVICE ON MY CARS. HE WAS NEVER TOO BUSY TO SPEND TIME ASKING ABOUT MY DOG HENRY AND MT WIFE LORENE. HE WAS RELATED TO HER BY MARRIAGE.
I SPENT SOME TIME WITH HIM LAST WEDNESDAY.IT IS SO HARD TO BELIEVE HE IS GONE. I WILL MISS HIM SO MUCH.

My wife, Julie, and I met James the last weekend of 2017 when we test drove a couple of cars with him at JOD Honda. We were so impressed by his caring demeanor, sense of humor, and no pressure approach. I had a couple of follow up phone conversations with him the following week. We called back on Saturday, January 6th to make another appointment with him and were shocked to learn of his death. Although we only knew him for a week, we could tell he was a very special man and can see how he would be so loved by family, friends, and co-workers. Our prayers go out to all of you.
