Obituary of John Carlos Kee

John Carlos “J.C” Kee, 83, passed away quietly in the night on Friday, 12:59am on December 1, 2017. His life with Eunice Pauline Isbell, his wife, and girlfriend since 1952, now continues down a different path. A long time rancher and farmer of his beloved northeast Cherokee County. A working man, his hard calloused hands could be equally soft and gentle with his family, loved ones, and animals. His home has been a rock for many.

Carlos is preceded in death by his late parents, James Homer Kee and Jewel McDougal Kee; his five brothers, Max, Dee, Quinton, Ed, and Jean.

Survivors include his wife, Eunice Pauline Isbel Kee of Troup; sister, Joyce and Wes Stites of Caynon City, CO; his children, David and Rose Kee of Mankato, MN, Rocky Kee of Tyler, and Lele and Jackie Murray of Tucson, AZ; ten grandchildren, twenty great grandchildren, and a significant number of nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, extended family, and friends.

The viewing will be at Cottle Funeral Home, 6pm – 8pm, Wednesday, December 6, 2017. Funeral Services will be held at the Concord Cumberland Presbyterian Church at 2pm, Thursday, December 7, 2017 with the Reverend Duane Dougherty officiating with interment to be at the Knoxville Cemetery. Under the direction of Cottle Funeral Home, Troup.

Funeral services for John Kee 83, of Troup, will be held  2pm Thursday, December 7, 2017 at Concord Cumberland Presbyterian Church with Reverend Duane Dougherty officiating with interment to be at Knoxville Cemetery, FM 856 at CR 4705, Troup, TX 75789. Under the direction of Cottle Funeral Home, Troup.

Visitation will be at Cottle Funeral Home in Troup 6pm to 8pm on Wednesday, December 6, 2017.

The family requests in lieu of flowers that donations be made to the LOGOS programs at the Concord Cumberland Presbyterian Church program, the Cumberland Presbyterian Children’s Home P.O. Drawer G Denton, TX, 76201, or Knoxville Cemetery Fund.
