Obituary of John Robbie Switzer

    Graveside services for Robbie Switzer, 47, of Troup, will be held at 2:00 pm, Wednesday, September 27, 2017, at Pinecrest Cemetery in Troup. Services will be officiated by Brother Erik Switzer under the direction of Cottle Funeral Home, Troup.

    Robbie Switzer passed away Monday, September 25, 2017 at his home in Troup. He was born in Houston on August 10, 1970 to the late Lloyd Switzer and Vee Rankin Switzer. Robbie was a high school graduate and member of the First Baptist Church in Troup. He served as a Troup ISD Board Member and TCDC Board Member. Robbie enjoyed fishing and hunting in his spare time.

    Survivors include his wife, Connie Mabry Switzer of Troup; son, Max & wife Jenny Switzer of Wichita, Kansas; two step children, Shane Sieber and Adam Sieber both of Troup; two brothers, Erik Switzer & wife Melinda of Tyler and Craig Switzer & wife Karen of Fort Worth.

    Pallbearers will be Terry Neel, Jeff Berryhill, Scott Saddler, Kerry Gomez, Will Patrick, Anthony Adkins, and Joseph Noyola.

    The family will receive friends and loved ones at Cottle Funeral Home in Troup, Tuesday, September 26, 2017 from 6:00 to 8:00 pm.
