Obituary of Gene Price

Funeral services for Bobby Gene Price, 74, of Arp, will be held at 11:00 am Saturday, September 9, 2017 in the Cottle Funeral Home chapel in Troup with Reverend T. C. Henson officiating. Interment will follow at Ebenezer Cemetery under the direction of Cottle Funeral Home, Troup.

Gene Price passed away Wednesday, September 6, 2017 in Tyler. He was born December 20, 1942 in Riverside California to the late Charles Price and Doris Eason Price. Gene liked spending time hunting, fishing, or being in the mountains of Montana. He was always sitting around playing his guitar and singing silly songs. He had music in his heart.

Gene is preceded in death by his parents, brother Ronnie Knobles, and sister Marie Click.

Survivors include his wife, Faye Marie Price; children, Ronda Sue Bohannon, Sherrie Lynn Click, Stephanie Faith Sell, Tracy Marie Price; brother, Charles E. Price; grandchildren and great grandchildren, Christopher Mikell Grimes, Troey Grimes, Rashelle Arroyo, Kennith Click, Bobby Click, Joshua Gilliland Krystle Perkins, Kynlee Click, Allison Perkins, and Brayden Click; also, many other relatives and friends.

Pallbearers are Bobby Click, Volley Davis, Andrew Sutter, Jonathan Carnahan, Homero Arroyo, and Timothy Click. Honorary Pallbearers are Kennith Click and Herman Kelly.

The family will receive friends and loved ones prior to service at 10:00 am at the funeral home.
