Obituary of David Neil Cochran

Memorial services for David Neil Cochran, 69 of Arp, will be at 3:00 pm, Saturday, July 29, 2017 in the Cottle Funeral Home chapel with Reverend Sherman Mayfield officiating.

David passed away Monday, July 24, 2017 in Tyler. He was born June 2, 1948 in Tyler to the late Jody Cochran and Gladys Ellouise Brown Cochran. He graduated from Whitehouse High School and served in the US Army in the Vietnam War. He enjoyed fishing, hunting and working in his yard.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his step-father, Wilbert Hill, a step-brother, Wayne Hill and the mother of his children, Marietta Lynn Jackson Cochran.

Survivors include his wife Paulette Chaney Flym-Cochran of Arp; children, Angie Sizemore of Tyler, David Cochran and wife Holli of Tyler, Kristy Dickens of Tyler; step-children, Donnie Henslee of Daingerfield and Frankie Flym of Troup; brothers, James Cochran of Whitehouse and Mike Cochran of Tyler; 12 grandchildren, 1 great-granddaughter and numerous family and friends.

The family will receive family and friends at the funeral home from 2:00 pm to 3:00 pm, Saturday, July 29, prior to the service.
