Obituary of Edith Norma Kee

         Funeral services for Edith Norma Kee, 95, of Troup, will be held 1:00pm Monday, June 26, 2017 at Martin’s Chapel Church of The Nazarene. Reverend Marc Sharp and Reverend Andy Cox will be officiating the service with interment to follow at Concord Cemetery under the direction of Cottle Funeral Home, Troup.

         Norma Kee passed away Saturday, June 24, 2017 in Tyler. She was born in Nova Scotia, Canada on October 4, 1921 to the late Chester A. Elliott and Sadie Rodgers Elliott. Norma was a member of Martin’s Chapel Church of The Nazarene. She enjoyed reading her Bible and other books. She taught Sunday School at church, loved to sing in the choir, and enjoyed being involved in her church family. Norma loved watching her Boston Red Sox and Dallas Cowboys. She served in the Woman’s Army Corps (WAC), is a WW II Veteran, and was stationed in England and France.

         Norma is preceded in death by her parents, husband Robert B. Kee, son Stephen Kee, 10 siblings, and a granddaughter Keri Diane Kee.

         Survivors include her two children, Larry S. Kee & wife Kathy of Troup, Diane Woods & husband Jerry of Savannah, GA; four grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.

         The family will receive friends and loved ones Sunday, June 25, 2017 at Cottle Funeral Home from 6-8pm.

         In lieu of flowers the family request that donations be made to the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, 3 International Drive, Suite 200, Rye Brook, NY 10573
