Obituary of Beverly Louise Fleming

Beverly Louise Fleming 1931 - 2017 NEW LONDON - A celebration of the life of Beverly Louise (Claypool) Fleming, affectionately known as “Nano”, 85, New London, will be at 10:00 am, Tuesday, March 14, at the Cottle-Pearson Funeral Home Chapel in Overton, TX with Andy Jones and Clark Cipoletta officiating. Burial will be in Pleasant Hill Cemetery, near New London. She passed from this life March 7, 2017 after a lengthy and bravely fought battle with cancer.   Beverly was born April 22, 1931 in Alleghany Co. Pennsylvania  to the late Russell Edwin and Lois Walker Claypool. Beverly and Jimmy Fleming were married April 15, 1950 in New London. She was a member of Selman City Christian Church. Besides her parents, she was welcomed to heaven by her baby brother, Keith, son-in-law Jerry Martin and her devoted husband of 66 years, James Richard Fleming.   Nano has been dearly loved and will be deeply missed by her children, Rusty & Jenny Fleming, Susan Fleming & Andy Jones, Linda Cole & Ronnie Clower, and Dawn Martin.  Her greatest joy in life was her grandchildren and great-grandchildren whose lives she blessed daily with her prayers and unending love.  They are Jeri Lynn & Bryce Huffman, Roxanne & Devyn Sumners, Shyanne & Chloee Tidwell, Cassidy & Becky Cole, Caitlyn Howell and Lona Cole, Nicky & Kristen Fleming, Jeremiah and Alexa Fleming, Laura Castro & Sam Barrett, Christian Castro, Clark & Lindsey Cipoletta, Maddox Potts & Boston Cipoletta, Jennifer Williams, Kimber Thompson and Kyle Schmidt, and Adam Williams & Gracie Williams. Her home in New London was always open and she loved to cook and feed any and all that came by.  Nano leaves behind a legacy of love and service to God and her community.  The lives of those she touched and loved will be forever changed and Nano will live on in our hears forever. Pallbearers will be Cassidy Cole, Clark Cipoletta, Adam Williams, Christian Castro, Devyn Sumners and Tim Woods. Honorary pallbearers will be Marcus Mitchell, David Davis, Darvy Mann and Josh Drinning. Visitation will be from 7:00 - 9:00 pm Monday, March 13, 2017. The family asks that in lieu of flowers, donations be made in her name to St Jude’s Children’s Hospital or The Hospice of East Texas.
