Helen, Jerry, Gregg, Kim and the remainder of Kay's loving family.....I am so sorry for the loss of your loved one. Kay was a special person that was a friend to many. When I would see her she always lit up with that beautiful smile of hers and she always had a word of kindness. I remember many nights I spent with the Callender girls on Bryant street and I will always cherish those memories. The Callenders home was place of love and laughter, especially from Mr. Callender. I can still hear him yelling at us on the basketball court with encouragement. Kay will be missed. But now she is enjoying the reunion in Heaven with all her loved ones, family and friends. Prayers and Blessings to you..God Bless Us All. Kathy

My condolences to Greg, Kim and all of your family during this sad time of loss. Both Glen and Kay were extraordinarily wonderful influences on me as a child growing up in Troup. He was my bus driver many years, and she taught my first grade music class in 1970-71. Then when she returned to teaching in 1972 I got to be in her 3rd grade class. She taught so many essential things that I still use daily, especially handwriting and multiplication tables--and she introduced me to Lincoln Logs. She was one of my favorite elementary teachers and a beautiful women, both inside and out. I cherish memories of her and I know you must be proud of the life she lived with dedication and purpose. God bless you all during this difficult time.

Evans Family:
Heartfelt sympathy for you all. Kay was a sweet soul - had her as my teacher, then Scott had her, we both loved her. Both Glen and Kay meant a lot to my family - outstanding mentors and Christians! Prayers for you all and may the peace that surpasses all understanding surround you all during this time.
