Just heard this morning about Sonny's passing...our hearts are broken. He was such a kind hearted and hard working man. Because of him, we have our little house in Arp we call "home" and will always be grateful to him. Praying for each of you as you go through this time of grieving. I know your hearts are hurting right now but I know also that we'll all see him again one day when we walk through those gates. Love you guys!! Vivian, if you need anything, James & I are one phone call away.

Steve,
just got email from Tracy White about your dad.
Didn't know him, but sounds like he was a great
example of courage and integrity, a wonderful
husband, father, grandfather and will be missed
by many. May the Lord bless your mother and be
with your family during the season ahead and give
you all the peace that only He can give.

sONNY, I thank you, your country thanks you for your military service during WW II.
It was a pleasure playing golf with you and friends at the Overton Golf Course. You were a tough competitor.
I also appreciate your many pounds of pecans you sold me over the years
Good Bye My Friend.

Vicki and I have been blessed to know both Earl and Vivian and I am blessed to have serve as their Pastor for 22 years. Sonny (Earl) will surely be missed at Arp First Baptist Church. He has used his talents to sing beautiful and meaningful gospel songs for us for all these years. - What a blessing to know that he is now singing God's praise in heaven.
