Willie Ware

Obituary of Willie Ann Ware

Willie Ware, 75, of Overton, will celebrate her first Christmas in Heaven after passing from this life on December 4, 2016 surrounded by her family and friends. She fought a long battle and finally won the victory. Willie (Bill as she was often called), was born March 13, 1941 in Mt. Enterprise and lived most of her life in various areas in East Texas. She was a caretaker to many of her family members and finally became a LVN and worked in a nursing home caring for others. She was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star and a faithful member of Overton Missionary Baptist Church until she was unable to attend, about 3 years ago. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Marvin Morris and her late husband, Robert Ware, her mother, Adele Ware, her brother, Joe Garrett and her sister, Linda Morris. Willie is survived by her children, Theresa (Gene) Kannenberg of Arlington, Howard (Ann) Morris of Tyler, Mary (Carl) Goldman of Overton, Mike (Johnnie) Ware of Arp, Cherie (David) Whitt of Andalusia, Alabama, a brother, Dale (Pam) Morris of Overton, ten grandchildren, fourteen great grandchildren, two nieces, two nephews and a very sweet ‘adopted’ daughter”. The family would like to thank everyone for their thoughts and prayers during this journey. In Lieu of a memorial service the family invites family and friends on Saturday, December 17, from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm at Willie’s home for a come and go Home Going Celebration.
