Obituary of Skylar Michael-Lee Rabourn

Services for Skylar Michael-Lee Rabourn, 2, Overton, will be at 7:00 pm, Friday, November 4, at the The National Guard Armory in Kilgore with Reverend Matthew Wolfe officiating. Arrangements are under direction of Cottle-Pearson Funeral Home, Overton. Skylar passed away Saturday, October 29, 2016 in Upshur County. He was born January 31, 2014 in Henderson to Austin Blane Rabourn and Tiffany Jay Hoffman. He loved Mickey Mouse and Paw Patrol and being a boy. He enjoyed spending time at the Armory where he could tear up things and he loved to hide all the keys. He was a very sweet little boy who loved to eat and be very protective of his baby sister. He was preceded in death by his great great grandmother, Roberta L. Hoffman and great grandfather, Robert L. Rabourn. Survivors include his parents, Austin Blane Rabourn and Tiffany Jay Hoffman of Overton; his baby sister, Ellie Rabourn, paternal grandfather and grandmother, Sammy Rabourn and wife Lisa, Liberty City, and Rachael Clark, Choudrant, Louisiana; maternal grandparents, Randall Phillips, Big Sandy and Thelma Smith and husband Raymond, Overton, and Billy and Sue King, and Gail Rabourn; great grandparents, Shelly Ray Phillips and Allene Peterson; great great grandparents, Lee Hoffman, aunts and uncles, Christina and Daniel Phillips, Jamie and Chad Phillips, Angie and Larry Gideon, Roger Rabourn, Samentha Splawn, Jared Rabourn, Michael Kelley, Savanah Rabourn and Zachary Smith; and several cousins. Honorary pallbearers will be Zach Smith and Jared Rabourn. The family will receive friends at the National Guard Armory Friday, November 4, from 6:00 pm to 7:00 pm prior to the service.
