Obituary of Madison TeWell

A private memorial service for Madison T. TeWell will be coordinated by the family at a later date. Arrangements are under the direction of Cottle-Pearson Funeral Home, Overton. Mr. TeWell died Wednesday, August 10, 2011 at age 71, in Henderson. He was born May 18, 1940 in Elm Mott, to Elmer (Doc) and Gladys TeWell. He is a veteran of the U.S. Air Force and moved to Henderson in 1986 from Brownwood.  He had several professions over his lifetime, but, in his later years enjoyed repairing and programming computers for family and friends. His favorite hobby was to digitally produce and mix music. His favorite pastime was to hear his children sing. Mr. TeWell was preceded in death by his parents, his sister Oweta TeWell, his wife Katherine TeWell, his son Madison A. (Jake) TeWell Jr.  He is survived by his sisters Carol Thomas and Juanita Williams both of Kilgore, and Mary Jaacks and brother-in-law CJ of Overton; his daughters and son-in-laws, Gloria and Bob Wall, Bonnie and Ronnie Walters all four of Henderson;  Carol and Tom Nicolaisen of Houston;  daughter-in-law Rhonda Jones of Henderson; 12 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren; 5 nieces and nephews, 17 great nieces and nephews, 2 great, great nephews and many good friends and extended family.
