Obituary of Norma Jean Williams
Memorial services for Norma Jean Williams, 74, Arp, will be at 10:00 am, Saturday, April 30, in the Cottle-Pearson Funeral Home chapel, Overton, with Reverend Ervin Gould officiating.
Mrs. Williams passed away Wednesday, April 27, 2016 in a Tyler hospital. She was born July 21, 1941 in Zaneville, Ohio. She moved to Arp from Farmington, New Mexico and was co-owner of Dal Williams Real Estate and Dal Williams Restaurant, both in Arp. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Arp.
Mrs. Williams was a very loving mother and grandmother and her family was the joy of her life. She devoted her life to the well being of her family.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Dal Williams, two daughters, Lisa Nicholls and Linda Reed, a son, Ted Williams, and a brother, Jim Billingsly.
Survivors include two sons, Thomas Reed, Arp and Troy Williams, Odessa; a daughter, Terry Mendez, Salinas, California; two brothers, John Billingsly and Jeff Billingsly; seven grandchildren, Amber Reed, Chase Nicholls, Chance Nicholls, Justin Sherwood, Shannon Cornelius, R. J. Mendez and Christopher Williams; seven great grandchildren, Cami Cornelius, Helen Cornelius, Tucker, Reed, Brayden Reed, Jackson Sherwood, Ryan Sherwood, and Easton Nicholls, and numerous nieces and nephews.
