At West Rusk we are still using the wonderful book shelves that he made and painted for the double wide classrooms.
I read his book about him and his brother. He captured their life and was a blessing to me and my dad who also had an older blind brother. It was so well written and gave such precious insight into their life in Overton.
We will miss John and look forward to seeing more of Sharon.

Dear Cohagen Family
I grew up with John starting with the 3rd grade in Overton. I knew his parents and brother very well.
During our early years, we did many things together(swimming, water skiing, Boy Scouts, school, football, ect.) I will always remember John's smile, personality and friendship.
My prayers go out to you for your loss.
God Bless.

Dear John, Jr. and family:
Know that our prayers go out to you and your family. The loss of your dad will be greatly missed, you have our sympathy at this sad time. Tell all that the only way to have true 'peace within' is by accepting Jesus Christ through His Salvation (Rom 10:9-13, John 3:3, John 3:16, John 6:44, Rev 1:5). To God be the Glory thru His Son, Jesus Christ.
With sincere, deepest sympathy,
your long time friends from White Oak,
Keith & Donna Blanton
