I grew up with the Lewis family and have great memories of Don. He had some of the coolest toys such as Model A, Hupmobile, Austin Healey Sprite, and an Economy tractor to name a few. He and Bill Hunley helped Bill and I put together a Go Kart for the local track. I was always welcome at their house and slept their for a while when there was discord in my own family. He provided a good home and even a vacation home for his children. I can recognize various parts of his personality in all three sons, especially his smile. The last time I saw him was when he visited at Jamie's house. I gave him a hug goodbye not knowing I would not see him again. Now he has joined that ever expanding group of the generation above me that awaits us all in heaven. One cannot adequately summarize a lifetime of memories in this space. He was the head of a family that played an important part in my early life. Praise the Lord that only he can take away our ability to remember and reminisce. God Bless you Don!

So sorry to hear of your loss. My husband Dick worked for Don for many years, and really enjoyed each other, and had lots of great times together. I'm sure they are reminiscing now. You are all in my prayers.
