Obituary of Perry W. McElroy

Funeral services for Perry W. McElroy, 55, Troup, are scheduled for 2:00 pm, Friday, February 27, 2015 at Cottle Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Steve Martin officiating. Burial will be in the Mixon Cemetery, under the direction of Cottle Funeral Home, Troup. Mr. McElroy passed away Tuesday, February 24, 2015 in Tyler. He was born July 19, 1959, in El Paso, Texas to Harold McElroy and Lois Bennett McElroy. Perry worked as a construction worker and he loved his family. He is preceded in death by his father Harold McElroy. Survivors include his daughter, Robin Fountain-McElroy of Troup; his mother, Lois McElroy of Troup; brother, Michael McElroy of Tyler. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from noon to 1:00, Friday, February 27, prior to the service.
