Obituary of Jimmie E. Stepan
Family visitation for Jimmie E. Stepan of Arp, will be 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm, Thursday, February 26, 2015 at the Cottle~Pearson Funeral Home Chapel. A memorial service will be held by the family at a later date.
Mr. Stepan died in Tyler, Saturday, February 21, 2015 at the age of 55. He was born February 9, 1960 in Sandstone, Minnesota to James E. and Ruth Heavirland Stepan. He worked in the oilfield for over thirty years and was employed by Basin Drilling.
Mr. Stepan was preceded in death by his mother, Ruth Stepan.
Survivors include his wife of 34 years, Julie Marie Nelson Stepan of Arp; his father, James Stepan of Arp; two daughters, Jana Kristine Stepan of Arp and Jennifer Marie Mauldin and husband Jeff Jr. of Arp; brother, Frank Stepan, of Minnesota and a brother by heart, Scott Draper and his wife Terri of Carthage; two sisters, Mary O’Brien of Hudson, Wisconsin, and Dori Stepan of South Range, Wisconsin; three grandchildren, Zachariah, Sarah and Leah Mauldin; and several nieces and nephews.
